Way to go Kathy!
Kathy, one of the HWC's co-founders, is a published author!
Kathy, one of the HWC co-founders, is an chapter author in this book!
As a graduate of the Doctor of Integrative Health and Healing Program/ a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Minnesota's Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing, Kathy was invited to co-author a chapter in the 2nd edition of the Integrative Nursing textbook. Her chapter is entitled "Facilitating Lifestyle Change and Health Coaching." Kathy and her fellow DNP and Health Coaching colleague, Judy Wagner, co-authored Chapter 8. For Kathy, it was both a pleasure and an honor to co-create the information included in the chapter as it was done from a nursing and health coaching point of view. The textbook is indeed an amazing compilation of innovative ideas that can encourage and facilitate improvement in patient lifestyle changes, as well as positive changes in our healthcare system to promote whole-person care. The foreword is written by Dr. Andrew Weil, M.D. Way to go Kathy! Check it out--- Steele, K. and Wagner, J.L. (2018). Facilitating Lifestyle Change and Health Coaching.
